Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Kryten Mechanoid (ranked 1473 p4p, 3496 weight class) and Oliver Da Silva (ranked 177 p4p, 409 weight class). Mechanoid comes to the cage accompanied by It's Cold Outside. Oliver Da Silva is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

With a record of 1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Oliver Da Silva!
The judges for this bout are Ren Mimura, Shirou Masuda and Tatsuya Matsuyama.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Da Silva connects with a crisp jab.
Da Silva goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.
Da Silva ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Mechanoid moves away.

Mechanoid closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Mechanoid lands in his opponent's guard.

Da Silva really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Mechanoid. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

It really doesn't seem like the step up in weight is hurting Mechanoid here at all. He's more than holding his own against the bigger man.
