Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Alexander Frost (ranked 25352 p4p, 4186 weight class) and Jarrah Hooper (ranked 512 p4p, 418 weight class). Frost's entrance music is Texas. A fine choice. The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 6 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Alexander Frost!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jarrah Hooper!
The judges for this bout are Shigeki Sano, Sosuke Kotani and Shirou Masuda.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hooper jabs. That one connects to the head of his opponent.
Frost takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Hooper punishes Frost's body with a nice straight punch.
Hooper leaves Frost with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Hooper is clearly trying to counter these attacks from Frost with a body shot.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Frost.
A lazy body kick from Frost
and Hooper counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Frost tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Hooper swivels and escapes.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Alexander Frost. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Frost takes a body punch but keeps moving.
Frost has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Hooper.
Hooper connects with an inside leg kick.
Frost fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Frost is breathing heavily.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Hooper scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Hooper goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.
It looks like Alexander Frost has been cut.
Hooper lands a body shot.
Nice uppercut lands for Hooper. That snapped Frost's head back.
Hooper scores with a slapping inside leg kick.
Hooper punishes Frost's body with a nice straight punch.
Hooper jabs at Frost's body.
Hooper connects with a jab.
Hooper is throwing a lot of body shots here, looking to wear down Frost rather than just go for the knockout.
Hooper connects with a solid leg kick.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Hooper lunges at Frost with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Frost's hand.
Hooper buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Frost has a takedown stuffed.
A nice leg kick from Hooper, right into the meat of the thigh.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Hooper lands a leg kick that knocks Frost off balance momentarily.
Hooper uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Frost has time to react.

Hooper bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Frost's head backwards.
Frost seems to be squinting his left eye. Perhaps he got a poke in that previous exchange. Hooper shows no mercy and swarms him with a barage of strikes! Frost is backing up but Hooper catches him with a final right hook that drops him! Frost covers up and the referee steps in to end the fight! Hooper Jumps to his feet and flashes his guns to the crowd. Oh yeah, baby! How'd you like them apples?!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:29 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Jarrah Hooper!
Jarrah Hooper tried to hype himself up post fight but didn't word it too well and it ended up with him sounding like a bit of a tool.
Alexander Frost spoke after the fight, saying 'Oh well.'.
