Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Brock Duncan (ranked 5090 p4p, 5273 weight class) and Naoya Li (ranked 280 p4p, 288 weight class). Naoya Li has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Brock Duncan's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Brock Duncan! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Naoya Li! The judges for this bout are Ren Mimura, Yukihiro Yamamoto and Tatsuya Matsuyama.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Duncan throws a body punch but Li moves out of range. Li goes for a double leg but Duncan avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Duncan continues to drive forward. Duncan throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd. Li feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. Duncan is looking to stand up but Li isn't so interested in that idea. Duncan has a butterfly guard looking to sweep but Li has passed into side control.
Duncan tries to escape but Li is in control. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Duncan is trying to improve his position. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Duncan taking a bit of punishment here - Li scoring with strikes. Duncan tries to buck Li off but Li is having none of it. Li trying to control the position but Duncan is working away. Li looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything.
That's one minute gone in the round. Duncan wants to get back to his feet. Li controlling the position from side mount. Li working away. Duncan misses with an elbow from the bottom. Duncan defending against the ground and pound. Duncan looks to be in better condition than last time we saw him fight. Obviously he's been working hard on his cardio. Duncan tries to buck Li off but Li is having none of it. Li slips into full mount, dodging the strikes by Duncan. Duncan is looking to get back to his feet - it's going to be hard from this position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Li tries to control but Duncan wriggling away. Duncan throwing punches from his back but nothing is landing. Duncan swinging wildly from the bottom but he's not landing. Duncan really trying hard to get back to half guard here.

Li prevents Duncan from getting the reversal. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Duncan is trying to get back to his feet but can't. Duncan tries to get back to half guard but can't. Duncan on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Duncan tries to get out of the position. Li swings around for an armbar and he's got it! Wow, that came out of nowhere! What a finish!
