Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, jiujitsu freak! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Paul Williams! The judges for this bout are Richard Clark, Colin Fotheringham and Andrew Berry.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Williams blocks a head kick by freak.
Williams slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range. freak swings for the body but Williams moves out of range.
Williams changes levels and scores with a jab to the body. Williams lands a nice hook to freak's body. freak takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes. Williams swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Oooh a lovely combination from Williams sends freak down but not out. Williams dives into side control looking to finish.
freak is rocked! The crowd are loving this. Great action here. freak is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Williams off and has taken his back! Oh freak is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!! Williams has the hand control, trying to stop the rear naked choke. freak seems to have got his legs back now. Williams covers up after that shot from freak.
Williams wants to get back to his feet. Williams is staying cool under pressure, defending well against the rear naked choke attempt from his opponent.
The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.
That's one minute gone in the round. Williams preventing the rear naked choke attempt from freak. freak is breathing heavily. Williams holding both freak 's hands and preventing any damage. A lull in the action here.
freak is trying to control but Williams is trying to escape here - he's now mounted.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. freak unloads with some shots from mount but Williams bucks and avoids them well.
Williams's corner are shouting for him to stand up but that's bad cornering - how is he meant to stand up when he's mounted? He should be looking to improve his position on the ground before trying to stand back up. freak jumps to the side looking to secure the arm triangle…. Ooooh, that looks tight… Williams is gargling but he's managed to escape! Nice work there by Williams and freak has given up the dominant position trying to land that submission.
Williams is not content to let freak control the position. Williams is trying to get back to his feet. freak in side control lands a nice looking series of punches and elbows. freak lands an elbow.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Williams stops freak from passing to mount. freak tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no freak has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought! The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. freak tries to score with some ground and pound. Williams controls his posture well this time though and the shots don't do any damage. Williams is trying to escape and get back to his feet. The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. freak is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Williams has escaped the position, nice work there. Williams prevents freak from improving position.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. freak throws a half hearted mid kick. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Williams misses with a jab, cross combination.

A left and a right from Williams both land. Nice combination. freak blocks a head kick by Williams.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Paul Williams dominated that round. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
freak takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt. Williams fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done. freak throws a right hand that Williams ducks under and follows up with a left that Williams also avoids with ease. Williams throws a leg kick but freak sees it coming and moves out of range. freak swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Williams counters with a left and a right that stings freak. Williams misses with a two punch combination.

Williams cracks freak with an open hand slap. Williams closes the distance and lands a one-two. Williams drops freak with a left right combo! Williams follows him down to the ground into side control.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Williams wants to stand but freak is controlling his arm.
That's one minute gone in the round. freak is looking to reverse the position. Williams tries to stand but freak is controlling his head. freak might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. freak looking for a sweep but Williams has passed into full mount! Oh no! Williams prevents freak from getting the reversal. freak tries to hold on but Williams postures up. Williams wants to get back to his feet but freak is holding on tight.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. freak is trying to escape the mount.
Williams wants to stand but freak is holding on to him, trying to stop him posturing up.
freak is desperately trying to get back to half guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Williams is looking to stand but Williams has his arms wrapped tightly around him, looking to prevent the damage.
freak regains half guard. freak manages to get to full guard.
freak not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
freak looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Williams wants to stand but freak is controlling his posture from full guard. There's a bit of a scramble here and now freak is on top in guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. freak trying to control but Williams is working from the bottom. freak missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. Williams really doesn't want to stay on the ground with freak. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. freak wants to pass the guard but Williams is keeping the position. Williams wants to stand but freak is controlling the position. freak looking to pass the guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Paul Williams showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. That's time! Back to the action! This is the final round!
freak has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from freak there as he acknowledges the shot. Williams slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range. Williams thuds his right hand into freak's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters. Williams lands a glancing blow to the side of freak's head. freak finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.
Williams throws a series of punches but freak avoids them all with ease. Williams connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed freak momentarily.
freak takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket. Williams is using his reach advantage to land shots from outside his opponent's range. Williams works freak's body with a nice hook. freak takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him. Paul Williams seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Both fighters are breathing heavily. freak swings away with a leg kick that misses. Williams swinging wilding here.
That's one minute gone in the round. Williams throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd. freak takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket. Williams throws a leg kick but freak sees it coming and checks it nicely. freak is looking to land body kicks. Williams scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. freak doesn't seem bothered though. A jab lands there for Williams. jiujitsu freak is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Williams lands a slapping body shot.

Williams jabs at freak's body. Williams looks to land a combination. freak sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Williams cracks freak with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Williams scores with a sloppy right hand. freak should have avoided that one. Williams lands a nice looking body shot.

Williams looks to land a body kick but freak moved away. freak takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Well,freak is on his way to losing a decision here. Can he use his experience to pull something off in the closing minutes? freak shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it. A combination from Williams does no damage. freak misses with a double jab
and freak takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. freak moves out of range of the body kick. Williams lands an overhand right. Nice straight punches there by Williams. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Williams.
That's three minutes gone in the round. freak throws a left and a right that both miss
and Williams counters with a one-two to the body. freak looks like he's developed a pretty tasty lump over his left eye. He'll need to avoid taking much more damage to that. Williams jabs at freak's body. Paul Williams seems to be getting the better of the standup. Nice sprawl there from Williams as freak shoots in. Williams lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent. freak takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily. Some wild striking there from Williams.
jiujitsu freak has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Williams lands a lovely overhand right. freak dodges the punch combination from Williams.

freak takes a body punch but keeps moving.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A combination from Williams does no damage. Williams jabs away that one connects to the head of his opponent.
Williams lands a jab to the nose. Williams rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but freak moves out of range and avoids them all easily. freak looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard. Williams has been the more effective fighter overall so far. This has been an exciting period of action! freak wants to free his trapped foot but Williams is holding on for dear life with his legs. freak is looking for a kimura but Williams is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for freak to get the leverage. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. freak throwing shots but Williams is blocking nicely.
And that's the end of the fight! Paul Williams comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I've got Williams winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
