Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jesus Villalobos (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Chris Rattle (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the ring.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Jesus Villalobos! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Chris Rattle! The judges for this bout are William Gold, Chris Edwards and Daniel Bishop.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Rattle fails with the takedown. Rattle lands a glancing blow to the side of Villalobos's head. Chris Rattle seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Rattle misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. Villalobos fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Rattle with a lazy takedown attempt and Villalobos counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Villalobos. Jesus Villalobos has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Chris Rattle. Rattle throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.
Villalobos slips effortlessly into side control - very nice. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Rattle is not content to let Villalobos control the position. Villalobos tries for a kimura but Rattle is defending well.
That's one minute gone in the round. Villalobos working away. Rattle tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Villalobos wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control. Villalobos tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though. Villalobos working away. Rattle regains half guard there - taking advantage of Villalobos's attempt to lay and pray for a moment. Rattle actively working from the bottom here.
That's two minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Rattle shoots and misses and Villalobos counters with a takedown into side control. Villalobos goes for an armbar! This could be all over! Wait, no, Rattle rolls with the submission and now he's on top in Villalobos's guard! Nice work there by Rattle! Villalobos is breathing heavily. Rattle stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Villalobos swivels though and keeps the full guard. Villalobos is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Rattle trying to control the position from guard on top but Villalobos is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Villalobos wants to sweep but no luck.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Rattle postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Villalobos is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Rattle, into his guard. Villalobos throwing strikes but missing. Rattle is looking for a triangle but Villalobos pushes his legs off easily.
Villalobos preventing the sweep. The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.
That's four minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Rattle looking for submissions from the bottom but instead Villalobos passes into side control.
You can see the frustration on Rattle's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. Villalobos controlling the position. Rattle can't do much from the bottom here. Villalobos is maintaining the dominant position - no doubt Rattle will start to get frustrated soon if he's not already. Rattle is looking for a sweep. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Jesus Villalobos dominated that round. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
Rattle has his takedown stuffed so Villalobos counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Rattle is on top in guard.
Rattle thows a big elbow that misses. Villalobos is adopting a defensive guard. Rattle preventing the sweep. Villalobos throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Villalobos throws a couple of shots from the bottom but they don't land.
That's one minute gone in the round. Rattle drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Rattle jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. Rattle passes into half guard. Rattle passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Villalobos! Rattle looking to finish with strikes here!
Villalobos tries to control Rattle's body but Rattle pushes him off. Villalobos squirms to his side and now Rattle has his back! Rattle patiently working for the choke. Which fighter will keep their nerve here?
That's two minutes gone in the round. Villalobos is displaying good submission defense - not really looking in danger of submitting to the rear naked choke at the moment. That could change in an instant of course if Rattle gets his way!
Rattle gets his hands free as Villalobos looks to control. Rattle has his arm under Villalobos's chin here. Game over son! Rattle squeezes tightly and Villalobos is forced to tap out!
