The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Tresette shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. World is trying to defend but Tresette finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.
World is looking for a sweep. Tresette is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
World regains full guard. Nicely done.
Tresette trying to control but World is working from the bottom.
Tresette really doesn't want to stay on the ground with World. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
World is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
World avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.
Tresette wants to control from the top but World keeps moving.
A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as World holds on and takes a little breather.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
World's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.

Tresette wants to control but World is keeping busy and won't allow it.

World tries to pass the half guard into mount. Tresette knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.

World passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Tresette!

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
World is working for a guillotine from mount but Tresette frees his head quite easily.
Tresette is looking to improve his position but World isn't that keen on the idea.
