Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mr Perkele (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Forrest Griffen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Forrest Griffen will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Mr Perkele! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Forrest Griffen! The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Wesley Smith and Alan Glass.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A decent looking cross lands there for Perkele. Griffen looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight! Griffen walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush. Perkele throws a right and a left that both miss. Perkele swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Griffen fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. Griffen dodges the punch combination from Perkele.
Griffen swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Perkele counters with a left and a right that stings Griffen. Perkele throws a leg kick but Griffen sees it coming and checks it nicely. Griffen has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Perkele finds it's way round the side to connect with Griffen's head. Perkele misses with a double jab.
Perkele lands a two punch combo.
Perkele rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Griffen moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Griffen with a poor takedown and Perkele counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Griffen thinking. Perkele shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away. Perkele working away from the top, dropping strikes. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Perkele lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning.
That's one minute gone in the round. Perkele punishing his opponent with strikes. Perkele landing strikes from the mount. Perkele looking to ground and pound his opponent to a finish here.
Griffen really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Perkele. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Perkele lands a big elbow. Perkele is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Griffen can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Perkele is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Griffen can't stay in a position like this for much longer.

Griffen defends a decent attempt at a guillotine from Perkele. Griffen has left one of his arms exposed and Perkele doesn't need a second invitation. He's isolated it and locked on a tight armbar. Griffen screams and taps out, obviously in a lot of pain. Hopefully there isn't permanent damage to that arm.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:01 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Armbar). Mr Perkele!
