Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Fester Adams (ranked 23413 p4p, 2030 weight class) and Bombo Bompaka (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Bompaka has a niggling injury. He would have liked to come in 100% fit but that's not always possible. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bompaka jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Adams throws a quick counter head kick but Bompaka was just out of range.
Bompaka swings away with a body shot that misses
and Adams counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Bompaka fails to land with a series of punches.
Adams will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Adams jabs Bompaka to the body, keeping him at a distance.
Bompaka looks winded!

Oooooh!!! Adams has knocked Bompaka down with a huge combo! Adams steps away and waves a wobbly Bompaka back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!

Bompaka is rocked!

It looks like Bombo Bompaka has been cut.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Bompaka is holding his hands too far apart here. Adams throws a hard, straight punch right down the pipe and BOOM! Bompaka is out! That punch landed square on the jaw - what a shot!
