The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Montrose throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Knowles counters with a lovely shot to the body.
Montrose pushes Knowles up against the cage in a clinch.
Knowles has a couple of punches blocked by Montrose.
Montrose pulls guard effortlessly.
Montrose has control of Knowles's left arm, preventing Knowles from doing any damage.
Montrose manages to escape and get back to his feet.
Montrose moves into the clinch.
Montrose lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Knowles backwards.
Knowles scores with a shoulder strike.
Montrose wants a takedown but no success here.
Montrose breaks from the clinch.

Knowles gets caught flat footed, as Montrose shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.

He's out cold! Montrose gets to his feet, tossing aside his stricken foe. Arms raised, he milks the applause from the crowd. Great submission!
