The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pudzianowski scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice.
Armstrong is trying to escape and get back to his feet.
Armstrong stops Pudzianowski from passing to mount.
Armstrong is not content to let Pudzianowski control the position.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Pudzianowski can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Armstrong is looking to escape.

Armstrong is trying to get back to his feet but can't.

Pudzianowski tries to hold on but Armstrong postures up.

Pudzianowski might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

Pudzianowski is trying to get back to full guard.
Pudzianowski moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.
Pudzianowski has his hands on Armstrong's head, controlling the position.

Pudzianowski escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Armstrong gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Pudzianowski manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Armstrong manages to get himself to full guard.
Pudzianowski trying to control but Armstrong is working from the bottom.
Armstrong wants to stand and escape but Pudzianowski is having none of it.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Armstrong really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Pudzianowski. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Pudzianowski gets to his feet. Armstrong looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!
Pudzianowski gets the takedown into side control.
Pudzianowski working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.
Armstrong is trying to escape and get back to his feet.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Vee Eight Armstrong will probably get the nod.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
Oh, that's a big right hand from Armstrong and Pudzianowski goes tumbling to the canvas! Armstrong follows him to the ground and looks to finish from half guard.
Pudzianowski regains full guard. Nicely done.
Armstrong stands up and waves to Pudzianowski to follow him.
Armstrong slips a jab and a cross from Pudzianowski.

Pudzianowski moves into the clinch successfully.
Armstrong tries to circle away but Pudzianowski has him pinned against the cage.
Pudzianowski breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Armstrong has been the more effective fighter overall so far.
Armstrong lunges in with a left hook that violently twists Pudzianowski head around and knocks him out cold! Armstrong hops onto the cage and yells out at the top of his lungs - Yeeeeeeeeaaaaaaaaah! They're showing the replay on the big screens now; that was nasty! I hope one of the photographers got a good shot of it.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:46 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Vee Eight Armstrong!
