Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between James Hackett (ranked 2239 p4p, 2409 weight class) and Hasbulla Magomedov (ranked 188 p4p, 200 weight class). Hackett comes to the cage accompanied by Foe Tha Love of Money. Magomedov has chosen Roy Jones Jr - Can't be Touched as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Hasbulla Magomedov has the eye of the tiger tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 28 - 20 - 1, fighting out of London, James Hackett!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 10 - 12 - 0, fighting out of London, Hasbulla Magomedov!
The judges for this bout are James Ackerman, Steven Brown and James Glass.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Magomedov misses with a takedown attempt - Hackett sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Magomedov will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Hackett throws a head kick that half lands.
It looks like Hasbulla Magomedov has been cut.
Magomedov closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
Magomedov seems to be working for a kimura but Hackett defends the submission attempt.
Hackett tries to roll over but Magomedov keeps him under control.
Magomedov has been taking part in the yoga sessions down at Shut Up & Train!. Presumably he's going to look for a slick submission... Or maybe he's looking to avoid one.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Magomedov is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Hackett is just riding it out for now. Magomedov eventually gives up the hold.

Magomedov is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.

Hackett has his hands clasped together around Magomedov's back. He's all about the action.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Magomedov is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Hackett defends it well.
Hackett gets back to full guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
