Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 6 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Denis Stojnic!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 6 - 0, fighting out of London, Maximillian Daugherty!
The judges for this bout are Colin Fotheringham, William Gold and Richard Clark.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Stojnic darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
Stojnic definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Stojnic is working hard to pass the guard. He's done it - he's now in full mount! Trouble for Daugherty!
Stojnic controlling the pace for now.
Stojnic is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Daugherty is surviving well by controlling Stojnic's body position as best he can.
Daugherty has given up his back - I don’t know if this is a deliberate ploy to try and escape or if he is just struggling down there.
Daugherty is trying to get back to his feet but he's not managed it yet.
Stojnic tightening his grip on Daugherty, looking for the choke.
Stojnic is working for a rear naked choke. Daugherty is not defending it well and Stojnic has tightened it up quickly! This could be all over! Daugherty refuses to tap and goes to sleep, forcing the referee to intervene. A little trickle of blood came out of Daugherty's nose as his head slumped to the floor. That is naaaasty!
