Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Masakazu Aoki (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Pekka Peruskurssilainen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Masakazu Aoki! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Pekka Peruskurssilainen! The judges for this bout are Hirohito Nitta, Shirou Masuda and Shigeki Sano.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Peruskurssilainen gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard. Aoki trying to control the position from guard on top but Peruskurssilainen is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Peruskurssilainen tries to land a sweep but no joy. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Peruskurssilainen trying to keep a closed guard but Aoki is proving a slippery customer.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Aoki wants to control from the top but Peruskurssilainen keeps moving. Peruskurssilainen will have to put a bit more behind his punches if he's going to do any damage from this position.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Nice takedown defense from Peruskurssilainen. No joy for Aoki on that attempt.
That's one minute gone in the round. Peruskurssilainen throws a leg kick but Aoki sees it coming and checks it nicely. Peruskurssilainen throws a nice looking combination but Aoki bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Aoki drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Aoki looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything. Aoki wants to control but Peruskurssilainen is keeping him busy. Aoki is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Peruskurssilainen has escaped the position, nice work there. Aoki is breathing heavily. Aoki tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Aoki has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought! Aoki is looking to take a break and control but Peruskurssilainen is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Aoki thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead. Peruskurssilainen manages to land a sweep and he's now on top! Lovely Jiu Jitsu! Peruskurssilainen is looking to advance position but Aoki won't allow it. Aoki makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Aoki. Aoki wants to sweep here but Peruskurssilainen controlling him for the moment. Peruskurssilainen trying to control but Aoki is working from the bottom. Peruskurssilainen is posturing up here but Aoki has hold of an arm and he's gone for an armbar! Peruskurssilainen tries to roll out but it's too tight and Peruskurssilainen has to tap! Slick submission there by Aoki!
