Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Petcharon Darawan (ranked 3280 p4p, 1222 weight class) and Brett Keane (ranked 309 p4p, 130 weight class). Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 18 - 12 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Petcharon Darawan! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 19 - 22 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Brett Keane! The judges for this bout are Alyssa Summers, David Schapiro and Bruno Lombardi.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Darawan uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Keane. Darawan misses the shot to the body. Darawan looks to throw the jab but Keane is out of range. Keane looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it. Petcharon Darawan seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Darawan throws a poor cross that misses
and Darawan takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
It looks like Petcharon Darawan has been cut. Darawan misses with a jab to the body
enabling Keane to counter with a crisp jab.
Darawan is rocked! Darawan sizes up Keane with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle. Darawan throws a poor cross that misses
and Keane counters with a straight right hand. Oh Darawan is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Keane displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Darawan throws out the jab. Keane shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it. Keane walks into a left hand. Darawan seems to have got his legs back now.
Keane is rocked! Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. A swing and a miss from Darawan. Keane is loading up here, looking for a big counter of his own. Keane is still on wobbly legs! Can Darawan finish him? Darawan closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage. Darawan blocks an uppercut.
Keane swings away with an uppercut that misses.
Keane throws a head punch that misses. With the fighters clinched against the cage, Darawan creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut. Darawan maintains plum control as Keane tries to back straight out! Darawan connects with one knee! Two knees! Three, four, five, six...seven unasnwered knees! Keane blocks the eight but eats the ninth - then collapses! Oh the brutality!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:53 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Knees). Petcharon Darawan! During a confident post fight interview, Petcharon Darawan thanked all his fans. He seemed very genuine when describing how motivated his fans keep him.
