Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Stanley Wagon (ranked 5619 p4p, 5086 weight class) and Abdul Jcool (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jcool is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Eye of the tiger. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 12 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Stanley Wagon!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 13 - 34 - 1, fighting out of Tokyo, Abdul Jcool!
The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, Don Winkell and Jack Bonds.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A jab from Wagon does it's job there.
Wagon misses with a lunging right hand
and Jcool counters with a left and a right that stings Wagon.
Jcool darts in looking for a takedown but Wagon gets double underhooks and turns Jcool into the cage.
Jcool tries to clinch up but Wagon circles away and keeps his distance.
Jcool shoots in looking for a takedown. Wagon tries to sprawl out of it but Jcool keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Wagon manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

and Wagon counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.

Jcool with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Wagon to score with a decent uppercut.
Jcool throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Wagon.
Wagon takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.

Horrible takedown attempt by Jcool or perhaps it was just good defense by Wagon, which made it look bad.

Wagon tries to throw a body punch but Jcool avoids it by throwing Wagon back against the cage.

Wagon tries to work over Jcool's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target.

Jcool tries to pull guard but Wagon holds him up against the cage and eventually Jcool drops back down to his feet.

Jcool is edging up against the cage. He's using the cage to get back to his feet. Nice work there - the fighters are clinched.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Stanley Wagon overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

A very excited looking Stanley Wagon made sure he remembered to thank all the fans both in the arena and on the internet. He said all the coolest people spend all day on MMA websites, which got a big reaction.
Abdul Jcool was interviewed post fight and said '"Everybody out there know I beat him, I controlled the fight, he was missing, I hit him plenty more times. I beat him.Let me talk something... I want to thank the whole hood who came out here. I love y'all. I did this for the hood, you know I beat that boy.'.
