Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Steve Schwinn (ranked 4719 p4p, 4499 weight class) and Makhi Snow (ranked 266 p4p, 254 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Steve Schwinn!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Makhi Snow!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, George Francis and Gwen Towbar.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Both fighters circling a little - Snow finishes the exchange with a kick to the body.
Schwinn shoots for a double leg takedown but Snow sprawls well. He's pushed Schwinn's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

Schwinn looking for a takedown here - he's got it.
Snow is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.
Schwinn is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.
Snow wants to get back to his feet but Schwinn is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Schwinn is looking to work some ground and pound but Snow has wrist control.
Snow is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.

Schwinn looking to hit a scissor sweep but Snow is one step ahead there.
Schwinn throws a couple of shots from the bottom but they don't land.
Schwinn on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Schwinn tries to get out of the position.
Snow is looking to stand up but Schwinn won't let him.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Schwinn takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
Snow tries a head kick but it misses.

Makhi Snow is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Snow ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Schwinn moves away.
Snow throws a right hand that Schwinn ducks under and follows up with a left that Schwinn also avoids with ease.
Schwinn shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Snow tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
A nice combination there by Snow.
Schwinn fails to land the takedown.

Schwinn steps to his left, right into the path of a big body kick from Snow. That one must have hurt.
Schwinn lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Snow circles away quickly and effectively.
Snow throws a combination. Schwinn tries to block but a couple of punches get through.
Schwinn takes a kick to the side of the head.

Schwinn is rocked!
Schwinn shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Snow as he avoids it easily.

Schwinn pushes Snow up against the cage in a clinch.
Snow tries to break free but Schwinn pushes him back against the cage.
Snow is trying to break the clinch but Schwinn is controlling him.

Schwinn's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Snow displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Schwinn.

Snow lands a head kick!
Oh Schwinn is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Snow misses with an uppercut.
Schwinn seems to have got his legs back now.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Schwinn ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
Schwinn shoots for a double leg takedown but Snow sprawls well. He's pushed Schwinn's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Schwinn has a takedown stuffed.
Snow appears to be waiting to throw a counter punch to the body.
Schwinn looks for a takedown but Snow sprawls well.
Snow throws a series of punches but Schwinn avoids them all with ease.
Schwinn shoots in looking for a takedown but Snow manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Schwinn's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

Schwinn takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
Snow stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Snow wants it to stay on the feet.
Makhi Snow seems to be getting the better of the standup.
A kick lands to the mid section there for Snow.
Schwinn looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it.
Snow throws a head kick that Schwinn semi-blocks.
Schwinn will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Snow is trying to push Schwinn away but Schwinn has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere.
Snow wants to break the clinch but can't.
Snow has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.

Schwinn escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Steve Schwinn is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Snow connects with a crisp jab.

Schwinn closes the distance and pushes Snow back into the cage.
Schwinn is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Snow is defending well for now.

Snow wants to get back to striking at distance but Schwinn won't allow it.
Schwinn has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Snow after a bit of a struggle.

Schwinn really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

The fight moves into the clinch position.
Schwinn manages to get underhooks and slows down the pace for a moment.

Snow can't break the clinch.
Schwinn looks to throw an elbow but misses.
Schwinn fails to pull guard.

Schwinn manages to break the clinch.
Schwinn shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Snow eats them both and turns towards Schwinn to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.
Snow lands with a kick to the temple. Schwinn shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"
Schwinn goes for a double leg but Snow avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Snow continues to drive forward.
Snow wants to get back to striking at distance but Schwinn won't allow it.
Snow looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now.

Schwinn manages to break the clinch.
Some wild striking there from Snow.
Schwinn half commits to a counter takedown before pushing away, out of range.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Snow connects with a high kick.
Snow keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Sloppy strikes from Snow. Those never looked like landing.
Snow throws a nice inside leg kick.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Snow lands a big head kick that sends Schwinn tumbling to the mat! Snow takes a step backwards and waves Schwinn back to his feet - he wants the finish!

Schwinn clinches.

Schwinn pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.

Snow gets tackled into the cage by Schwinn. Schwinn maintains the clinch.

Schwinn decides to pull guard.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

Makhi Snow showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! This is the final round!

Snow pulls out of a head kick attempt.

Schwinn has managed to clinch.
Schwinn is trying to pull guard but Snow has him pressed against the cage.
Schwinn keeps control of Snow as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.
Snow wants to break free but Schwinn has control.
Come on Schwinn - let's have some action - none of this stalling nonsense.
A frustrated look appears on Snow's face as he tries to break the clinch.
Schwinn prevents Snow from breaking the clinch.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Snow tries to circle away but Schwinn has him pinned against the cage.
Snow gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Schwinn.

Schwinn escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

Snow dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Schwinn. That did some damage!

Snow is trying to force a seperation but Schwinn has the dominant position.
Schwinn drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Snow gets the underhooks and prevents it.

Schwinn takes a head kick and keeps coming.
Snow connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son.

Schwinn has a takedown stuffed.
A nice inside leg kick there by Snow. That's going to slow Schwinn down.
Schwinn throws a lazy head kick
enabling Snow to counter with a crisp jab.
Snow has been the more effective fighter overall so far.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Schwinn.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.
Schwinn takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.
Snow lands a brutal head kick. Schwinn looks out on his feet and Snow throws more strikes until the ref is forced to stop the fight!
