Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Cecil Peabody, Chris Downing and Alan Glass.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Blackwater tries a head kick but it misses.
Zousa circles away from the clinch attempt.
Zousa shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Blackwater is trying to defend but Zousa finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Zousa keeping composed on the top, looking to control the action.
Zousa is looking for a kimura here.
Blackwater tries to roll over but Zousa keeps him under control.
Zousa is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Blackwater pushes Zousa off looking to stand but Zousa dives back in and keeps control.
The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Zousa connects with a nice short shot to Blackwater's temple.
Zousa has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

Zousa tries to stand but his arm is trapped.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Zousa is working hard to pass the guard. He's done it - he's now in full mount! Trouble for Blackwater!

Zousa tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.
Zousa is working to isolate an arm here. It's a telegraphed submission attempt but he's gone for it anyway - and he's got it! Zousa extends the arm and Blackwater is forced to tap!
