Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Xxx Xxx (ranked 23241 p4p, 23320 weight class) and Xxx Xxx (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 107 - 26 - 3, fighting out of Las Vegas, Xxx Xxx! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 19 - 114 - 3, fighting out of Las Vegas, Xxx Xxx! The judges for this bout are Stewart Dunkirk, George Francis and Frank Dennis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! We've got one fighter who appears to only be looking to counter and the other not looking particularly aggressive either, so we could be in for a dull fight. Fighter B will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Fighter A thinks about countering with a body kick. Fighter A fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Fighter B to the ground. Fighter A is now in Fighter B's guard. Fighter A showing good wrestling skills to control the position. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
That's one minute gone in the round. Fighter B has control of Fighter A's left arm, preventing Fighter A from doing any damage. Fighter A looking to pass the guard. Fighter B seems keen to control Fighter A's posture.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity. Fighter B fails with the takedown. Fighter A quickly followed up with a counter body kick but doesn't connect. Fighter B shoots in and bounces Fighter A off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Fighter A has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall. Fighter A manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Fighter B manages to get himself to full guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Fighter B is adopting a defensive guard. Fighter B throwing some rather feeble looking strikes off his back.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Fighter B looking to control the pace of the fight rather than finish it. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Xxx Xxx dominated that round. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! Fighter B shoots for a takedown but Fighter A saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. It appears Fighter A was looking to counter with a kick there. Fighter A stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Fighter A wants it to stay on the feet. It appears Fighter A was looking to counter with a kick there. Fighter A slaps away a takedown attempt from Fighter B, before circling back to the center of the mat. Xxx Xxx has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Xxx Xxx. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Fighter B fails with the takedown.
That's one minute gone in the round. Fighter A fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Fighter B avoids it really well and circles away. Fighter B shoots in for a takedown but Fighter A shows good takedown defense. Fighter A feinted there with a counter leg kick. Fighter A leaves Fighter B with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
That's two minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Fighter A feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. Fighter B pulls Fighter A in to control the position. Fighter A looking to control the position here, rather than advance. Fighter A seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Fighter B for as long as he can get away with.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Fighter B pulls Fighter A in close to his closed guard and prevents Fighter A from doing any damage or advancing position. Fighter A is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position. We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Fighter A throws a big elbow that misses. Fighter B working a defensive guard but Fighter A passes into half guard.
Fighter A throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage. Fighter B looking to work for a kimura from the bottom.
The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity. Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Fighter B tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Fighter A swivels and escapes. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Xxx Xxx dominated that second round. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. This is the final round! Fighter B has his takedown stuffed and Fighter A counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Fighter B thinking. Fighter B gets a double leg takedown into Fighter A's guard. The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Fighter A has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Fighter A on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Fighter A tries to get out of the position.
That's one minute gone in the round. Fighter B trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. Fighter A is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage. Fighter B postures up in Fighter A's guard and throws a big left but Fighter A blocks it.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Fighter A has his hands on Fighter B's head, controlling the position.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Fighter B fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Fighter B gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Fighter A counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body. Xxx Xxx has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Xxx Xxx. No luck for Fighter A with that takedown attempt.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Fighter B fails with a takedown attempt. Fighter A manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Fighter B on his heels. He'll look to pass Fighter B's guard now, I'm sure.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Fighter A lands a couple of elbows. Fighter A is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long. Xxx Xxx is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Xxx Xxx has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Fighter B is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Fighter A is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact.
And that's the end of the fight! Xxx Xxx showed his dominance in that final round. Well Fighter A has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
