Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Bacardi Briggs (ranked 3376 p4p, 3839 weight class) and Simon Maynard (ranked 372 p4p, 413 weight class). Briggs comes to the cage accompanied by The Stopper by Cutty Ranks. There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Maynard steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Briggs.
Maynard is loading up here, looking for a big counter of his own.
Maynard throws a head kick that misses.
Maynard lands a nice shot that snaps Briggs's head back.
Briggs scores with a jab.
Good shot there by Maynard.
Maynard is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
Maynard swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Briggs.

Maynard lands a head kick. Briggs smiles back at him and beckons him forward.

It looks like Bacardi Briggs has been cut.
Maynard walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Briggs with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Maynard to score with a decent uppercut.
Maynard looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Sloppy strikes from Maynard. Those never looked like landing.
Maynard throws a sloppy head kick and Briggs moves out of range easily.
Briggs lands the left hand.
Maynard tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Briggs throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
A decent looking cross lands there for Briggs.
Briggs ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Briggs definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Briggs slips a straight right by Maynard.

Maynard misses with the combination.
It looked like Briggs was trying to counter with a body shot coming off that last attack from Maynard.
Briggs cracks Maynard with an open hand slap.
Briggs ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Maynard looks to throw the jab but Briggs is out of range.
Maynard misses with a series of wild punches.
Briggs scores with a three punch combo!
Briggs throws a hook to the side of Maynard's head but Maynard sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
A head kick misses from Maynard.
Maynard misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Maynard is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Briggs.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Briggs closes the distance and pushes Maynard back into the cage.
Briggs prevents Maynard from breaking the clinch.

Briggs blocks an elbow strike.
Briggs lands with a good tight uppercut to the head.
Briggs throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Maynards head.

Maynard is rocked!
Briggs misses with a hook from the clinch.
Maynard is still on wobbly legs! Can Briggs finish him?

Briggs manages to break the clinch.
Briggs lands with a jab that stuns his opponent. Maynard is looking to close the distance but Briggs sees it coming and throws a beautiful knee! Maynard crumbles to the mat and that's all she wrote! Let's hope Maynard is OK because that was naaaaaasty!
