Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Michael Brogan (ranked 25430 p4p, 3329 weight class) and Leroy Dukes (ranked 587 p4p, 391 weight class). Brogan comes to the cage accompanied by Immortal Technique - Open Your Eyes. Man, I cannot wait for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A looping hook to the body misses from Brogan. Dukes does a little dance to reset his feet.

Brogan lands a big right hand that sends Dukes crashing to the mat! Brogan stays standing though and waves Dukes back to his feet!

It looks like Leroy Dukes has been cut.
Dukes throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Dukes looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.

Dukes throws an overhand right that lands on Brogan's shoulder, as Brogan tries to avoid the shot.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Dukes throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

That was a close round but I would say that Michael Brogan will probably get the nod.
Both fighters have cut men working on them during the interval.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare each other down, ready to get back to the action.

Brogan has not gone for a single takedown so far in this fight, which seems like a very strange tactic when you consider that he has the superior wrestling and BJJ.

Brogan feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Dukes sprawling to the canvas! Dukes rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Brogan finish him?!

Brogan lands a vicious elbow to the side of Dukes's head that scrambles his senses and sends him wobbling down to the canvas! Brogan tries to finish him with strikes but Dukes still seems able to defend himself so Brogan steps back and lets Dukes get back to his feet - he wants no part of the ground game.
