Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Nedjeljko Markovic (ranked 5816 p4p, 2108 weight class) and Joel Miller (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Markovic has a slight injury, which hopefully won't affect the fight too much. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 9 - 12 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Nedjeljko Markovic!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 4 - 0, fighting out of London, Joel Miller!
The judges for this bout are Dillan Fox, Alec Ball and Steve Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Markovic dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Miller blocks the body kick.
Nedjeljko Markovic seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Jab, jab by Miller - just one landing.
Markovic takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Miller tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Markovic was well out of range. Poor timing from Miller.
Miller scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Markovic is breathing heavily.
Miller lands a jab.
Miller takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.
Markovic uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Miller.
Markovic ducks under a wild hook from Miller.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Markovic uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Miller.
Miller throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Markovic stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Markovic tries a low kick but Miller avoids it.
Miller keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Markovic.
Miller checks a leg kick.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Miller! But no joy.
Markovic attempts a low kick but it misses it's target.
Miller lands a big right hand that sends Markovic crashing to the mat! Miller stays standing though and waves Markovic back to his feet!
Markovic is rocked!
Miller connects with a picture perfect right hand that knocks Markovic out cold! This one is over in a flash!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:50 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Joel Miller!
