The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hawkins takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket.
Hawkins has a takedown stuffed.
Hawkins fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Lane fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Hawkins looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Lane connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son.
Lane tries to bum rush Hawkins with a series of wild strikes but Hawkins uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Hawkins is clearly looking to counter with head kicks.
Lane lands a right hook to the body.
Lane throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Hawkins.
Lane looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Lane throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
Hawkins misses with an uppercut
and Lane counters with a series of strikes that really hurt Hawkins! The ref looks into his eyes and sees nobody home - he's called the fight! This one is all over!
