These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Himura Kenshin!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Donnie Fisher!
The judges for this bout are Eliza Hachem, Steve Erwin and Winston Howard.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kenshin dodges the punch combination from Fisher.
Fisher needs to keep his hands up - Kenshin had a free shot at his head there.
Fisher drops Kenshin with a nice combination! Fisher dives into Kenshin's guard, looking to finish!


It looks like Himura Kenshin has been cut.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Kenshin trying to strike off his back.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Kenshin throwing strikes off his back to little effect.
Kenshin is pulling down on Fisher's head. It's preventing any offense from Fisher, at least for the moment.
Kenshin has momentary wrist control but Fisher slips an elbow through the middle.
Fisher sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Kenshin's guard.
Kenshin is trying to stand back up but Fisher is controlling him
Kenshin on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Kenshin tries to get out of the position.
Fisher looks to score some points with some ground and pound.
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!

Kenshin pushes Fisher off and gets back to his feet.
Fisher lands with an overhand left.


Himura Kenshin's cut is getting worse.

Kenshin throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Kenshin misses with an uppercut.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Fisher misses with a jab, cross combination.
Fisher lands with an overhand left.


Kenshin is rocked!


Himura Kenshin's cut is bleeding quite badly. He's got to try and protect it.
Kenshin ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Fisher moves away.
Oh Kenshin is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

Fisher clinches up against the cage.
Kenshin seems to have got his legs back now.
Kenshin misses with a punch on the inside.

Fisher breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
A combination from Fisher does no damage.
Fisher drops Kenshin with a naaaaasty hook - Kenshin is in real trouble here! Fisher dives in to side control and pounds out his opponent for a TKO victory! The crowd goes nuts!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:24 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Donnie Fisher!
