Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Batak shoots in and gets a takedown into Tung's guard.
Tung might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

Batak thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
Batak slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.
Batak with a flurry of punches that miss.
Tung controls Batak momentarily but Batak frees himself.
Tung striking off his back but it's not causing Batak any problems.

Batak drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Tung dives on top into guard.

Batak is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Tung defends well.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Tung postures up.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Tung wants to pass the guard but Batak is keeping the position.
Batak is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Batak seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.
Batak prevents Tung from improving his position.

Batak seems to be working for a kimura but Tung defends the submission attempt.

Batak wants to lay and pray for a moment but Tung keeps working.
Tung is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.

The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
Tung is looking to improve his position.
Batak is looking to stall here but Tung recovers full guard.

Batak has gone for a leg lock! Tung slips out almost immediately though and dives into Batak's guard.

Tung stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Batak swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!

Batak postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Tung is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Batak, into his guard.

Batak wants to sweep here but Tung controlling him for the moment.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.

Batak throws a head kick that misses.
Tung circles away from the clinch attempt.
Tung appears to be looking for a counter takedown.
Tung stuffs the takedown attempt from Batak. Batak gets slowly back to his feet.

Batak scores with a takedown into Tung's guard.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Batak wants to pass the guard but Tung is keeping the position.

Tung is trying to control the position but Batak postures up.

Tung is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Batak wants to control from the top but Tung keeps moving.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.
Batak is in a good position here but he's just trying to control... And he's not even managing to do that successfully.

The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet.

Batak decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.

Tung manages to escape and get back to his feet!
Batak is breathing heavily.

Batak doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Tung counters with a series of strikes. Batak will be more careful next time no doubt.
Batak throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Tung's waist but Tung gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Batak off to one side.
Tung appears to be looking for a big counter.
Timmy Tung has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Svetozar Batak.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

and Tung counters with a monster hook and another for good measure! Batak falls to the ground, out cold! Stick some heavy metal music over the top of that clip and it's one for the highlight makers!
