Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Jonny Francis (ranked 25310 p4p, 3366 weight class) and Bon Adrien De Moncey (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Francis kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Rest in Peace. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
De Moncey has a takedown stuffed.
De Moncey scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground.
De Moncey wants to lay and pray for a moment but Francis keeps working.
Still in half guard, De Moncey seems content to control.
Francis wants to control but De Moncey is keeping busy and won't allow it.

De Moncey is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
De Moncey stands and steps away. Francis gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.
Horrible takedown attempt by De Moncey or perhaps it was just good defense by Francis, which made it look bad.
Francis throws a big counter combination but De Moncey scrambles out of danger and avoids any damage.
De Moncey closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Francis's guard.

Francis lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but De Moncey circles away quickly and effectively.

and De Moncey decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Francis's guard.

Francis definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
De Moncey shoots for a double leg takedown but Francis sprawls well. He's pushed De Moncey's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

Francis throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.

Francis will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
De Moncey shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Francis pinned against the cage. Francis gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

Francis rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but De Moncey moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
A looping hook to the body misses from Francis. De Moncey does a little dance to reset his feet.

Francis looks to score with a jab to the body but De Moncey is just out of range.
De Moncey dives in and grabs Francis's left leg, looking for a takedown. Francis pushes down on De Moncey's head and hops out.
De Moncey tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Francis defends well and De Moncey ends up having to push Francis into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.
A combination from Francis does no damage.
Francis throws a wild body kick that De Moncey sees coming a mile off.
Francis looks to score with a jab to the body but De Moncey is just out of range.
De Moncey shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. De Moncey showed some decent athleticism there.
De Moncey tries to pass the half guard into mount. Francis knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.

De Moncey wants to pass to mount but Francis is defending the position.
Francis is looking to regain full guard. He's left an arm up in the air though and De Moncey has latched onto it... Big trouble! De Moncey pivots for an armbar - it's in tight and it Francis is tapping in no time flat! Great counter grappling there from De Moncey!

A relieved looking Bon Adrien De Moncey thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
