Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Fart Boy (ranked 5972 p4p, 3361 weight class) and Nikolai Volkov (ranked 0 p4p, 310 weight class). Nikolai Volkov told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Fart Boy!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Nikolai Volkov!
The judges for this bout are Valeri Chadov, Fedor Mirinova and Aleksandr Martynov.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Boy throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Volkov was covering up waiting for the punch and Boy finishes the takedown easily into guard.
Boy has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Volkov to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Boy is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Volkov pulls down on the head and he's put Boy to sleep! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:18 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle). Nikolai Volkov!
