Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Topf Deckel (ranked 1547 p4p, 2192 weight class) and Tapani Kangas (ranked 166 p4p, 228 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

With a record of 15 - 19 - 1, fighting out of Helsinki, Tapani Kangas!
The judges for this bout are Robert Douchet, Yves DeLean and Trevor Gratis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Kangas is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Deckel.
It looked like Deckel was trying to counter with a body shot coming off that last attack from Kangas.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Deckel moves into full mount! Kangas won't be happy about that!
Kangas really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Deckel. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Deckel wants to control the action but instead Kangas gets a body lock and reverses into Deckel's guard! Nice work!
Deckel seems to have improved his submission grappling technique since last time we saw him. Let's see if he can pull off a submission.
