Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Dawindi Buktot (ranked 24055 p4p, 24015 weight class) and Walay Buut (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 36 - 56 - 5, fighting out of Las Vegas, Dawindi Buktot!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 51 - 43 - 4, fighting out of Las Vegas, Walay Buut!
The judges for this bout are Stewart Dunkirk, Chris Downing and Tiny Johnson.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
We've got one fighter who appears to only be looking to counter and the other not looking particularly aggressive either, so we could be in for a dull fight.
Buut shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Buktot counters with a good, hard body kick but Buut shrugs it off.
A slapping body kick lands there for Buktot.
Buut fails to land the takedown.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Buktot.
Buut tries a counter takedown but it's more of a dummy move, and he uses it to push himself away.

Buut changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Buktot tries to avoid it but Buut manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Buktot to the ground. Buktot escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
It looked like Buktot was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Buut shoots in and drives through. Buktot sprawls well.
Buktot throws a quick counter kick to the body but Buut avoids it.
Buut shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Buktot but Buktot pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Buut tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Buktot defends well and Buut ends up having to push Buktot into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.

Buktot shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Buut's guard.

Buktot seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Buut for as long as he can get away with.

Buut is trying to control the position but Buktot postures up.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Buut has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall.

That's time! Buktot's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. This is the final round!
