Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Fat Hoos (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Johnny Gram (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hoos comes into the arena with The Von Bondies- C'mon C'mon blaring out of the sound system. Gram has chosen For Whom The Bell Tolls as his entrance music. Fat Hoos has a significant reach advantage - let's see if he can make it count.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
5 - 4 - 0, fighting out of New York, Fat Hoos! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
7 - 5 - 0, fighting out of New York, Johnny Gram! The judges for this bout are Columbo Gatti, Anthony Taglia and Russell Pearce.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Hoos fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. Hoos dives in and grabs Gram's left leg, looking for a takedown. Gram pushes down on Hoos's head and hops out. Hoos shoots in looking for a takedown. Gram tries to sprawl out of it but Hoos keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Gram manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Fat Hoos. That's going to take a lot out of him. Hoos shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Gram pinned against the cage. Gram gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Hoos changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Gram tries to avoid it but Hoos manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Gram to the ground. Gram escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Gram gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here. Hoos blocks an elbow strike from Gram.
Hoos lands a nice uppercut. Hoos lands with a good tight uppercut to the head. Hoos blocks an elbow strike from Gram.
Gram throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Hoos blocks it with crossed arms. Hoos looking for a takedown. Gram lands a good knee to the midsection. Hoos won't want to take too many of those. Hoos takes an elbow to the temple.
It looks like Fat Hoos has been cut. Hoos jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Gram walks away with a smile on his face. Hoos gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head. Gram fails with an attempt to clinch.
Fat Hoos seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Gram instigates a clinch.
That's one minute gone in the round. Gram crunches a lovely knee into Hoos's ribcage. Hoos is breathing heavily. Hoos changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Gram fights it off and pushes away nicely.
Gram slaps away a takedown attempt from Hoos, before circling back to the center of the mat. Gram tries to clinch there but Hoos circles away.
Hoos will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Gram fails with an attempt to clinch.
Gram rushes Hoos and presses him up against the cage. Hoos blocks an elbow strike. Hoos is trying to stall.
Gram throws an elbow but it's blocked.
Gram landing knees to the body.
Gram creates a bit of distance and throws an elbow that only just misses. Hoos dodges an elbow strike from Gram.
Gram putting his Muay Thai to good use. He has Hoos in a tight clinch and is doing some damage with knees to the body. Hoos blocks an elbow strike. Gram lands an elbow inside that Hoos shrugs off. Hoos blocks an elbow strike. Gram stalling in the clinch.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Hoos has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Gram avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch. Gram lands a nice elbow. Nice elbow from Gram. Hoos takes an elbow to the temple.
Fat Hoos's cut is getting worse. Gram connects with a knee to the head.
Kneeeeees! The crowd are calling for knees to the body. Gram obliges. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Gram effectively controlling the action here. Gram utilising his Muay Thai to score with a knee to the body. Gram lands an elbow inside. Gram displaying some good clinch control by pressing Hoos up against the cage. Gram lands an elbow inside.
Fat Hoos's cut is bleeding quite badly. He's got to try and protect it. Nice elbow from Gram. Gram throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Hoos blocks it with crossed arms. Hoos blocks the elbow strike.

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Fat Hoos's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
