This TWGC bout is 1 fifteen minute round in the super heavyweight division. Introducing today's competitors. The fighters bow as they face eachother in the middle of the mat and we are under way. Excellent takedown into side control there by Shart. Score +4 for clean takedown past guard: Shart (4) vs (0) Pawn Shart is moving around in side control but his primary objective seems to be to maintain the position. Shart seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Pawn for as long as he can get away with. Pawn is looking to regain half guard here but Shart keeps moving and retains side control. Shart advances to full mount. Score +2 for reaching mount: Shart (6) vs (0) Pawn We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Shart controlling from mount. The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.
That's one minute gone in the round. Pawn wants to control but Shart is having none of it. Shart looking to secure an arm triangle but Pawn defends it well. Shart controlling from mount. The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves. Pawn keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.

Shart controlling the position easily from mount. Shart working for a submission here. He's tucked his head under his opponent's arm, looking for an arm triangle. He's hopped off into side control, looking to tighten the submission... is it going to work? He's given up a good position looking for it. Pawn looks OK. Oh, I spoke too soon, he's out! That must have been tighter than I thought! Excellent work there by Shart! Submission of the night perhaps?
