3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Ralph Jar! The judges for this bout are Anthony Taglia, John Kavanagh and Bruno Lombardi.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Borowski throws a hook to the side of Jar's head but Jar sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. Borowski throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Jar uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Borowski. Borowski wants to clinch. Jar throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Jar thuds his right hand into Borowski's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters. Jar throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Borowski was covering up waiting for the punch and Jar finishes the takedown easily into guard. Jar throws and elbow that misses. Borowski uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Jar's guard. Nice move by Borowski! Jar doesn't do any damage with a couple of strikes from the bottom.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Jar ducks under a wild hook from Borowski. Borowski misses with a looping right. Borowski looks to land a combination but Jar avoids it well. Jar lands a nice hook to Borowski's body. Borowski takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes. Borowski throws a big shot that misses. Borowski is breathing heavily. Borowski throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. That's four minutes gone in the round. Borowski is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on Jar's leg. He's managed it. Nice work. Jar sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Borowski defending well though. Jar thows a huge punch but Borowski dodges it nicely.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Borowski fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Jar manages to avoid it. Donk. Jar catches Borowski right on the button with a cross. Jar scores a takedown into full mount! Jar scoring with strikes but Borowski is staying in there. Jar raining down shots from the mount! Jar is in the full mount, landing strikes. Borowski is bucking up trying to escape but Jar cracks him with another couple of good strikes. Jar throws a sloppy strike and Borowski uses the opportunity to reverse the position! A bit of a scramble here and Borowski has ended up in Jar's guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Jar thows some rabbit punches from the bottom but they don't do any damage. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Jar can do anything to dispel that myth.

Ralph Jar showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. This is the final round!
