Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 3 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Jacob Song! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Nino Waller! The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Shimada, Yukihiro Yamamoto and Hirohito Nitta.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Waller lands with an overhand left. Song really is a fat lump. Song tries to score a power double leg takedown but Waller sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Song somewhat. Waller throws a counter combo. Waller turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick. Waller lands a head kick!
No luck for Song with that takedown attempt. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Waller lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.
Waller lands with a cross. Song misses with a takedown attempt and Waller counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jacob Song. That's going to take a lot out of him.
That's one minute gone in the round. Waller misses with a combination
and Song counters with a takedown into side control! That could mean trouble for Waller! Song looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything. Waller is pushing Song's head away, looking to escape. Song manages to hold on to the position though. Waller looks winded! Song moves into full mount! Waller really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Song. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Waller is trying to stand up. Song working for a submission but Waller is keeping him at bay. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Song is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Waller can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.
Song won't let Waller get back to his feet... He wants to keep the fight where it is for now.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Song has hold of Waller's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Waller manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.
Song working for a guillotine from mount but Waller is in no mood to give up. Waller trying desperately to get to his feet.

Waller wants to get back to his feet but in bucking up he's left an arm hanging out! Song has locked onto it and has pulled off a slick armbar! Waller taps furiously! This one is all over!
