The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Simpson throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.

Tee looking to score a takedown here. Simpson is defending well but Tee drives through and ends up in Simpson's guard.

Tee bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Simpson's guard.

Tee wants to stand but Simpson has a closed guard, so he can't escape.

The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.

Simpson closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Tee to the mat! Tee manages to get full guard.
