The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lausa fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Smith has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
No joy there for Lausa, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Smith throws a big counter combination but Lausa scrambles out of danger and avoids any damage.
