The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nurmagomedov shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
letting MacGuire counter with a right hand.
Nurmagomedov fails with the takedown
and MacGuire counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.
A jab from MacGuire does it's job there.
MacGuire dips to his left and cracks Nurmagomedov with an uppercut!

Sean MacGuire has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Abdulmanap Nurmagomedov.
MacGuire jabs Nurmagomedov right on the nose. Nurmagomedov blinks but takes it well.
MacGuire ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.

and MacGuire makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
Nurmagomedov shoots in for a takedown but MacGuire shows good takedown defense.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Nurmagomedov drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.
MacGuire stuns Nurmagomedov with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.

MacGuire steps in with a hook that catches Nurmagomedov right on the chin and knocks him to the floor! MacGuire follows him down with more strikes and that's all she wrote! Nurmagomedov looks absolutely devastated.
