Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Jimar Kinkead (ranked 2814 p4p, 2847 weight class) and Romeo Alfa (ranked 324 p4p, 329 weight class). Kinkead comes to the cage accompanied by No Sunshine. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 3 - 4 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Jimar Kinkead! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 3 - 3 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Romeo Alfa! The judges for this bout are Winston Alpacca, Dirk Anderson and Santiago Holmes.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Alfa scores with a decent looking hook. A head kick by Alfa misses and Kinkead counters with a takedown into side control. Kinkead is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Alfa has escaped the position, nice work there. You can see the frustration on Alfa's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. Kinkead working the ground and pound. Kinkead taking a breather here. Alfa looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights. Alfa is trying to get back to half guard. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while. Kinkead is trying to land an Americana. Kinkead is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Alfa is surviving well by controlling Kinkead's body position as best he can. Kinkead looking to control and managing it successfully. Alfa wants to hold on but Kinkead pushes him away. Alfa is desperately trying to improve his position but Kinkead has a good base and remains in mount. A nice elbow there by Kinkead. Kinkead looking to ground and pound his opponent to a finish here.

Alfa is displaying good submission defense - not really looking in danger of submitting to the rear naked choke at the moment. That could change in an instant of course if Kinkead gets his way!
