And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 30 - 20 - 1, fighting out of Los Angeles, Pat Kelly!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kelly misses the jab.
Nice defenses there by Vrjalya.
Kelly throws a hook but Vrjalya blocks it.
Vrjalya attempts a counter takedown but Kelly avoids it well and moves away.

so Vrjalya counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Vrjalya wants to work for an arm triangle but Kelly is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.

You can see the frustration on Kelly's face… He knows he is in trouble unless he improves his position sooner rather than later.

Vrjalya seems to be going for a rear naked choke. He has an arm under Kelly's chin but Kelly turns very nicely into Vrjalya's guard. Good BJJ skills being displayed there by Kelly.

Vrjalya is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.
Kelly bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Vrjalya's guard.

Vrjalya passes the guard and advances to mount!
Kelly is squirming around, avoiding Vrjalya's attempts to control the action.

Kelly is wriggling around here but as he tries to escape, Vrjalya has taken his back.

Vrjalya has got one arm under Kelly's chin. This could be trouble... Kelly trying to control the other hand but Vrjalya gets it free and sqeezes tight - just a matter of time now! Yep, Kelly has tapped out! The fight is over!
