Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Frank Marino (ranked 2434 p4p, 3210 weight class) and Benson Beckley (ranked 245 p4p, 315 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 10 - 4 - 0, fighting out of New York, Frank Marino! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 14 - 10 - 1, fighting out of St Petersburg, Benson Beckley! The judges for this bout are Anthony Taglia, John Roberts and Bruno Lombardi.
 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Beckley lands a nice shot to the body.
Beckley has done a lot of speed work in the buildup to this fight. Donk. Beckley catches Marino right on the button with a cross. Marino avoids a punch combination nicely.
It looked like Marino wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit. Beckley throws a sloppy head kick and Marino moves out of range easily. Marino is looking for a counter combo. Marino circles away from the clinch attempt.
Beckley tries to clinch but Marino moves away letting Marino counter with a right hand. Beckley ducks under a wild hook from Marino. Marino rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Beckley moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Beckley connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt. Beckley tries to close the distance and clinch up but Marino swats him away and circles back towards the center. Beckley lands with a nice body punch. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Beckley tries to close the distance and clinch but Marino swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Marino jabbing away but nothing is landing.  That's two minutes gone in the round. Marino is stalling in the full guard. Beckley wants to stand but Marino is controlling the position. Beckley is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Marino is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but Beckley has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Marino is looking to defend but Beckley has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Marino! Beckley pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Marino taps out and this one is all over!
