Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jake Wooden (ranked 4586 p4p, 4792 weight class) and Ricky Ticky (ranked 447 p4p, 456 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jake Wooden!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Ricky Ticky!
The judges for this bout are Cecil Peabody, Wesley Smith and Alan Glass.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wooden ducks under a wild hook from Ticky.
Ticky throws a right and a left that both miss.
Wooden tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Ticky swivels and escapes.
Ticky throws a hook but Wooden blocks it.
Wooden throws a counter high kick but Ticky was just alert enough to avoid it.
Wooden on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere.
Wooden throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
A telegraphed right hand from Ticky misses the target.
Ticky looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Ticky tries to bum rush Wooden with a series of wild strikes but Wooden uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Decent striking displayed by Ticky there.
Ticky stuffs the takedown attempt from Wooden. Wooden gets slowly back to his feet.
Wooden blocks a jab.
Ticky throws a hook but Wooden avoids it easily.
Wooden throws a head kick but Ticky moves out of range.
Wooden throws a body kick but he wasn't in range.
Ticky scores with a jab to the jaw.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Wooden slips a straight right by Ticky.
Ticky throws a hook but Wooden blocks it.
Wooden attempts a counter takedown but Ticky avoids it well and moves away.

That's one minute gone in the round.
No joy there for Ticky, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Wooden tries to counter by clinching up but Ticky breaks away and moves out of range.
Ticky keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jake Wooden. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Ticky cracks Wooden with a right hand to the side of the head.
Ticky throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Wooden throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Ticky looks to land a left hand but Wooden moved out of range nicely.
Wooden blocks a jab.
No joy there for Ticky, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Ticky stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Ticky wants it to stay on the feet.
Wooden looks to be in better condition than last time we saw him fight. Obviously he's been working hard on his cardio.
Wooden could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Ticky lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

Ticky feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Wooden sprawling to the canvas! Wooden rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Ticky finish him?!
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Some wild striking there from Ticky.
Wooden appears to be looking for a counter punch to the body.
Wooden tries to close the distance and clinch but Ticky swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Ticky circles and sees the opportunity to plant his feet and throw a really nice straight left hand that drops Wooden to the canvas! Wooden doesn't know where he is but he's trying to survive - Ticky keeps piling on the pressure and forces the referee to step in! This one is aaaaaall over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:06 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Ricky Ticky!
