Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Chad Slone (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Heikki Knihti (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Slone comes to the cage accompanied by In The Air Tonight. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Chad Slone! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Heikki Knihti! The judges for this bout are George Francis, Robert Twigg and Chris Downing.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A leg kick checked by Slone. Knihti throws a nice outside leg kick. Slone checks a leg kick. Slone moves out of range of the body kick. Knihti throws a series of punches but Slone avoids them all with ease. A shot to de liver by Knihti. Beautiful body shot. Slone checks the leg kick nicely there.
Slone checks a leg kick. A leg kick checked by Slone. Slone has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him. Knihti tries to land a front kick but Slone steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed. Knihti walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Slone checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side. Knihti fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Knihti throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Slone. Knihti misses with a low kick.
Good work by Slone as he checks the leg kick. Slone walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head. Slone dodges the punch combination from Knihti.
Knihti looks gassed! Knihti goes for a spinning back kick but it misses. Slone checks the leg kick. Knihti tries to land a leg kick but Slone saw it coming and moves away.
That's one minute gone in the round. Knihti throws a leg kick but Slone moved away. Knihti misses with a low kick. Some bone on bone action there as Slone checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one. Slone instigates a clinch. Slone lands a damaging elbow. Slone has double underhooks and is working for a body lock takedown. He's got it. The fighters land in half guard but Knihti regains guard immediately. Slone gets to his feet - Knihti follows without any prompting. Slone tries to clinch up but Knihti circles away and keeps his distance. Slone fails with the takedown. Knihti throws a leg kick but Slone moved away. Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Knihti.
Knihti throws a solid leg kick but Slone takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Knihti. Knihti throws a front kick aimed at Slone's knee but Slone avoids it well. Heikki Knihti is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Knihti lands with a right that hurts Slone. Slone looks to clinch but Knihti throws a short knee that drops Slone. This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:50 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punch and Knee). Heikki Knihti!
