Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 6 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jayson Tatum!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Gerald Gordeau!
The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, Jack Bonds and Percy O'Donnell.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tatum looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Gordeau raises up his leg as if looking to counter with a high kick.
A low kick from Gordeau misses
and Tatum counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Gordeau takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Gordeau throws a combination that misses
and Tatum counters into the clinch. Nicely done.
Tatum gets through Gordeau's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head.
A body shot lands from Tatum.
Still in the clinch, Tatum scores with a nice short uppercut.
Tatum throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Gordeaus head.

Gordeau looks winded!
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Tatum lands a hook to the side of the head.
Tatum lands a left hand that snaps the head of Gordeau backwards.

Gordeau is still on wobbly legs! Can Tatum finish him?
Tatum is working Gordeau over against the cage.
The fighters are playing wrist control here with Gordeau pressed against the cage. Tatum frees himself up and cracks Gordeau with an uppercut straight from the bowels of hell! Gordeau crumples to the floor, out cold! Tatum jumps on to the cage and takes in the roar of the crowd! That was nasty!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:15 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Jayson Tatum!
After winning the bout, Jayson Tatum thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
