Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Taako Taaco!
The judges for this bout are Viktor Lagutenko, Vladimir Khabensky and Valeri Chadov.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Shrute looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
Shrute looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this!
Taaco controlling the leg, holding on to half guard.
Shrute is looking for a kimura here.
Taaco keeps control of the position for the meantime.
Taaco is looking for a sweep. Shrute is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Shrute blocks the strikes from Taaco.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Taaco can do anything to dispel that myth.
Taaco tries to strike from the bottom but it doesn't land.
Taaco moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.
Taaco wants to sweep but no luck.
Taaco has his hands on Shrute's head, controlling the position.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters, thinking about a standup.
The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.
Nice shot lands for Taaco.
Shrute looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Taaco moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination.
Taaco instigates a clinch.
Taaco makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut.
Taaco lands a big knee! That's hurt Shrute! Oh, he's all over the place! Taaco lands another knee that sends Shrute to the floor and the referee steps in to end the fight!
