And in the blue corner, fighting out of Tokyo, with a TWGC record of 0 wins and 2 losses; Miami Vice!
The judges for this bout are Richard Clark, Steven Brown and Phil Schofield.
The fighters bow as they face eachother in the middle of the mat and we are under way.
Balkan closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Vice's guard. Score +2 for takedown into guard / half guard: Balkan (2) vs (0) Vice
Vice controls Balkan momentarily but Balkan frees himself.
Balkan's corner is telling him to maintain position.
Our spies down at at Hammer House of Horror inform us that Vice has really been working on his submissions in the buildup to this fight. Will it pay off?

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Balkan seems to be working for a kimura but Vice defends the submission attempt.

We've been hearing good reports from Balkan's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today.
