With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Matheus Cardoso!
The judges for this bout are Percy O'Donnell, Timothy Bukovac and Don Winkell.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cardoso fails with the takedown.
As Cardoso looks to move away, Paquiao throws a big counter combo but Cardoso just gets out of the way.

and Paquiao counters with a three punch combo that has Cardoso backing up. Cardoso nods at Paquiao to acknowledge the strikes.

Cardoso connects with a decent looking elbow from side control that caused Paquiao some visible discomfort.
Cardoso lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear Paquiao down.
Paquiao takes a nasty elbow to the side of the head.
Paquiao is rocked!
Paquiao knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Cardoso on the ground.
Cardoso remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while.
Oh Paquiao is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!

Cardoso scores with a big shot from side control... and another... and another! Oh Paquiao is done here - save him referee! More strikes land and eventually the ref does step in and Cardoso can finally stop beating on his defenseless opponent!
