Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Enver Karacan (ranked 2615 p4p, 1093 weight class) and Bobo Valdenius (ranked 316 p4p, 130 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Enver Karacan! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Bobo Valdenius! The judges for this bout are Jorge Garcia, David Schapiro and Steve Montenegro.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Valdenius looks to land a left hand but Karacan moved out of range nicely. Valdenius takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness. Horrible takedown attempt by Valdenius or perhaps it was just good defense by Karacan, which made it look bad. Karacan swung with a counter punch to the body but it didn't connect. Karacan looks to score with a jab to the body but Valdenius is just out of range. Valdenius drops down looking to force a counter takedown but Karacan defends it well. A swing and a miss from Valdenius. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Karacan swings for the body but Valdenius moves out of range.
Karacan punishes Valdenius's body with a nice straight punch. Valdenius throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Karacan's waist but Karacan gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Valdenius off to one side.
That's one minute gone in the round. Valdenius with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Karacan to score with a decent uppercut. Karacan slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range. Karacan misses with a shot to the body so Valdenius counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility. Karacan is trying to keep Valdenius in close.
Valdenius slips nicely into half guard. Valdenius is trying to control. Karacan wants to improve his position but can't escape this time. Valdenius is looking for a kimura here.
Valdenius seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Valdenius prevents Karacan from improving his position. Karacan is looking to get back to is feet but Valdenius passes into side control.
Karacan has improved his flexibility recently so we will have to see if he can use that to his advantage. Valdenius is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Karacan knows the correct defense though, so he's OK. Karacan prevents Valdenius from moving into mount. Karacan is trying to get back to his feet. Valdenius trying to control the action but Karacan is working from the bottom. Karacan is trying to escape and get back to his feet.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Karacan on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Karacan tries to get out of the position. A bit of a lull in the action. I'm sure it will pick up again soon... even if the ref has to physically pick them up and put them back on their feet. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Valdenius looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything. Karacan is looking to regain half guard here but Valdenius keeps moving and retains side control. Valdenius wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Karacan, who protects the arm well. Karacan is disgusted with himself for not defending it better but Valdenius couldn't care less - he's delighted!
