Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Si Won Choi (ranked 4088 p4p, 2875 weight class) and Sherpov Gelovkin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The judges for this bout are Winston Alpacca, Daniel Franklin and Sandra Marshall.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gelovkin feints and as Choi raises his hands in defense, Gelovkin changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Gelovkin is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Gelovkin drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Gelovkin jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Gelovkin drops back looking for a leg! Choi is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Choi manages to kick Gelovkin off! Gelovkin jumps back into Choi's guard.
Choi is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
