Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Harry Suhr (ranked 4166 p4p, 4089 weight class) and Mikuru Asakura (ranked 0 p4p, 285 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Harry Suhr!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Mikuru Asakura!
The judges for this bout are Steve Erwin, Chris Dean and Damien Edna.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Asakura goes for a double leg but Suhr avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Suhr continues to drive forward.
Suhr shoots in for a takedown but Asakura shows good takedown defense.
Asakura throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Suhr's head.
It looks like Harry Suhr has been cut.
Suhr throws a body shot but no joy.
Suhr takes the fight into the clinch.
Suhr is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Asakura pulls him back up using the underhooks.

Asakura lands a big head kick that sends Suhr tumbling to the mat! Asakura takes a step backwards and waves Suhr back to his feet - he wants the finish!

Suhr jinks towards his opponent looking like he wants to counter with a mid kick but doesn't commit.

That was a close round but I would say that Harry Suhr will probably get the nod.

The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

and Asakura counters with a crisp one two that drops Suhr! Asakura thinks about following him to the mat for a moment but instead steps back and waves Suhr to his feet! Suhr is in big trouble!
Oh Suhr is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
