Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Batu Otgonbayar (ranked 1506 p4p, 1042 weight class) and Chad Hammer (ranked 197 p4p, 143 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Chad Hammer!
The judges for this bout are William Peck, Alec Ball and Yves DeLean.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hammer looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Hammer uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Otgonbayar has time to react.
It looks like Batu Otgonbayar has been cut.
Otgonbayar tries to clinch but Hammer moves out of range.
Hammer darts in and clinches Otgonbayar up against the cage.
Hammer blocks an uppercut.
A nice right hand lands inside from Otgonbayar.
A short right from Hammer.
Otgonbayar tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage.
Hammer lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards.
Otgonbayar scores with an uppercut up the middle.
Otgonbayar misses with the head strike.
Hammer gets control of Otgonbayar's arms and successfully pulls guard. Hammer will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Hammer is looking to cinch up a triangle. Otgonbayar throws the leg off to one side though and gets in tight to Hammer's body to avoid the submission. Hammer has instead reached around Otgonbayar's neck and now has a guillotine! Oh, this is biiiig trouble! Hammer arches his back and squeezes and forces the tap from his hapless opponent.
