Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Artyom Kozlov (ranked 5265 p4p, 5314 weight class) and Yao Ming (ranked 220 p4p, 222 weight class). Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Artyom Kozlov! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Yao Ming! The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Shimada, Sosuke Kotani and Kenichi Hosakawa.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Kozlov shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Ming but Ming pushes him off and we're back to square one. Kozlov walks into a jab. Kozlov fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Ming avoids it really well and circles away. Ming throws a counter combo. Ming lands with a hook. Kozlov tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head. Kozlov looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Kozlov showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Ming.
Ming fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but Kozlov is out of range.
That's one minute gone in the round. Kozlov shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Ming sprawls well. Ming wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Kozlov gets slowly back to his feet. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Artyom Kozlov. That's going to take a lot out of him. Kozlov shoots in looking for a takedown. Ming tries to sprawl out of it but Kozlov keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Ming manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Ming throws a body punch but Kozlov moves out of range. Kozlov changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Ming tries to avoid it but Kozlov manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Ming to the ground. Ming escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Despite the aggression on Ming's face he doesn't fully commit to the counter. Ming lands a jab-cross combination. Kozlov misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Ming connects with a single shot there. Ming's coach down at Sydney Top Team was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Ming's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight. Ming stuffs the takedown. Ming scores with a nice strike. Ming stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Ming wants it to stay on the feet. Kozlov is breathing heavily. Kozlov misses with a takedown and Ming counters with a lovely straight right hand! and Ming counters with a massive uppercut that badly hurts Kozlov! He's just covering up as Ming starts to tee off till the referee steps in and stops the fight!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:42 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Yao Ming!
