Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Stewart Dunkirk and Robert Twigg.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Zaroio has closed the distance and engaged Durden in a clinch.
Zaroio manages to pull guard.
Zaroio lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Durden!
Zaroio looking to control and managing it successfully.

Durden is squirming around, avoiding Zaroio's attempts to control the action.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
The referee stands the fighters back up. Tana Zaroio just wasn't active enough from the dominant position.
Durden looks to clinch
and Zaroio counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Durden!
Durden looks gassed!

Zaroio takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
Durden really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Zaroio. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Zaroio has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Durden tries to lock up and control but Zaroio gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.

Zaroio takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
Zaroio is controlling this nicely and is looking to make no mistakes. Durden is trying to wiggle out of this horrible position. Durden flips to his side and attempts to get a leg in for half guard. Zaroio anticipates the leg and manages to get behind Durden and secures both hooks! This could be bad! Zaroio slips an arm under Durden chin and tries to position for a rear naked choke. Zaroio has worked the choke in now and it looks tight. Zaroio is squeezing on Durden like an anaconda would it's prey. Durden fails to tap and has fallen unconscious! We've got ourselves a winner by way of a rear naked choke!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:04 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Tana Zaroio!
